Zechariah 8:5–‘The streets are full of boys and girls laying in Heaven.”

For all our children up in haven

This Christmas Prayer we offer now;

Although abruptly taken from us

Safely before God they humbly bow.

LIke the Wise Men of Ancient Yore

Our sincere reverence now we bring;

Snuggle our children close to your heart

—O Christmas Savior, Lord and King.

Christ–the infamous friend of children

On your warm lap they now come to call;

Please cuddle them closely right next to thee

This First Christmas In Heaven, one and all.

2012 by Douglas Raymond Rose

Dedicated to all the families who lost children in the

school tragedy this week.
